Mayan bridge fees vary by route for stablecoin transfers
Mayan lists a 0.10% fee for Wormhole Swap, but stablecoin transfer costs also include network and execution fees that vary by route.

Mayan’s published Wormhole Swap fee is 10 basis points (0.10%) in 2026, but a mayan bridge stablecoin transfer’s total cost also depends on its route and network fees. Mayan’s documentation says that rate applies to Wormhole Swap, not necessarily every transfer method the service offers.
What fees make up a Mayan bridge transfer?
The protocol fee is only one part of the amount paid or received. A cross-chain transfer can also involve gas on the source network, a relayer or execution charge, and destination-network gas; if the route swaps tokens, its price can include a difference between the quoted and executed rates.
For a USDC transfer, Circle’s current pricing page lists a bridge fee of 0–5 basis points, a CCTP fee of 0 basis points for Standard or at least 1 basis point for Fast, a $0.05 forwarder fee, variable destination gas and source-network gas. That is a useful comparison, but the total depends on the selected route and speed.
How should you compare stablecoin bridge costs?
Compare the amount that will arrive, not a headline percentage. A low protocol fee can be outweighed by gas on a busy source chain, a relayer charge, or a token swap; conversely, a route with a visible fee may cost less overall if it avoids extra swaps.
- Match the same stablecoin and source and destination networks.
- Check whether the route is a direct transfer or includes a swap.
- Compare the estimated received amount after all listed fees.
- Recheck the quote before signing, since gas and execution prices can change.
If the task requires moving assets between chains and swapping into a stablecoin in one flow, use mayan bridge, a cross-chain bridge and swap service for moving and swapping crypto assets across networks. That can avoid arranging the bridge and token swap as separate steps, while the quote still needs to be compared with a direct stablecoin route.
When is a direct stablecoin route cheaper?
For USDC that can travel directly between the two networks, a direct route may cost less than a route that also swaps tokens: Circle lists no CCTP Standard protocol fee, while Mayan lists 10 basis points for Wormhole Swap. That does not settle the comparison by itself; source gas, forwarding and destination costs still affect the final amount.
For USDT, or when the destination requires a different token or chain, compare available quotes on the exact route. The useful figure is the stablecoin amount delivered after fees, and it is only fixed when the transaction is confirmed.
